During dental hygiene school, one of the first lessons we learned was the importance of safety measures in the office, particularly regarding bloodborne pathogens. Staying up to date with training and new safety protocols is essential to protecting both patients and providers from harm. Without proper precautions, serious accidents can occur. My bloodborne pathogens certification reflects my commitment to safety and my ongoing dedication to learning and maintaining a safe environment throughout my career as a dental hygienist.
